I started this blog as a way to keep friends and family up to date on my life while in PA school thousands of miles away. Not only did it allow them to see what was going on in my school and personal life, it was a way for me to get my thoughts out "on paper." Now that I'm done with school, I hope to use it as a way to document my entry into the professional world. You will find stories of work and home as well some of my favorite things such as cooking, traveling and our crazy dog. I hope you enjoy!

I am a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, dog-mom and most recently, a licensed physician assistant. I am blessed with a wonderful set of family and friends as well as the most wonderful husband a girl could ask for. We share an apartment in TX where he works away in the financial world and I work in an ER. Since December of 2007 we've been proud parents a wonderful but crazy shiba inu, Lacey, who constantly makes us laugh. I find great joy in reading, traveling, and cooking/baking. I have an unhealthy obsession with shopping, especially at kitchen supply shops such as Williams-Sonoma and Crate & Barrel. Oh, and I'm a die-hard TCU fan - go frogs! Welcome to my life :o)
